Understanding How Credits Work

A credit is simply a point within the LaundryClerk system that gets utilized each time you process an item of clothing. As many credits that you have, your laundry will be able to process that number of clothing items via the LaundryClerk system. You can buy credits on a monthly basis from LaundryClerk: You can view the various subscription plans here. As you will see, our endeavour is to be fair.

Based on your plan, every month you get a certain number of credits added to your account on a per month basis. Regardless of how many months you pay for, credits work on a monthly basis.

Each time you process a clothing item, you keep consuming the credits until you have reached the last credit point within your account for that month. Even if you have exhausted all the credits for that month,  however, your account will not stop; Rather, you will be informed that your credits have exhausted, and you will be charged a slightly higher rate per credit thenceforth for the rest of the month. It therefore makes sense for you to purchase the tier that best suits your monthly volume so that you get the best rate per credit.

A valid question now is, what happens if you do not consume all the credits that you have left in your account? In this case, the extra credits left over in your account roll over to the next month. (This is helpful for laundries since there are certain seasons when the monthly volume may be low owing to factors like the weather and so on.) However, it should be noted that in case you decide to discontinue the service, you will be refunded only to the extent of current month’s and future months’ credits, that is, your rolled over credits from the previous months will not be taken into account during the refund.
